About

Dr. Tianyi Wu is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of microrobotics, biomedical engineering, and reproductive health. His primary research focuses on the magnetic actuation and control of microrobots, as well as the development of intelligent, non-invasive analysis systems for assisted reproductive technologies. Dr. Wu’s major contributions include a landmark review on the selective and independent control of microrobots in magnetic fields, which has garnered 58 citations since 2023. This work is foundational for advancing untethered medical devices and targeted drug delivery. More recently, he introduced the Sperm Feature-Correlated Network, an automated, AI-driven framework for analyzing sperm morphology and motility. This innovation, cited 9 times in 2024, promises to revolutionize in vitro fertilization by providing unbiased, high-throughput sperm selection for robotic intracytoplasmic sperm injection. By bridging the gap between precise microrobotic manipulation and clinical fertility assessment, Dr. Wu’s work is shaping the future of minimally invasive medicine and reproductive automation.
