Shengwei Xiao is a materials scientist whose research centers on stimuli-responsive hydrogels, soft actuators, and bioinspired materials engineering. His work has made significant contributions to the design and fabrication of advanced bilayer hydrogel systems capable of complex shape transformations, positioning him as a notable voice in the emerging field of soft robotics and artificial muscle development.
