Sergey Korkin is a leading figure in atmospheric remote sensing, whose work has fundamentally advanced the accuracy and reliability of global aerosol monitoring. His primary research focuses on the development and refinement of retrieval algorithms for the Aerosol Robotic Network (AERONET) and the Multiangle Implementation of Atmospheric Correction (MAIAC).
