About
Runfang Hao is a pioneering researcher in the field of advanced energy harvesting and flexible sensor technologies, with a particular focus on triboelectric nanogenerators and piezoelectric sensing systems. Her most significant contribution is the development of a fully 3D-printed voiceprint recognition sensor based on a triboelectric nanogenerator, achieved through a novel one-step molding route—a breakthrough that addresses the critical challenge of efficient, scalable production of energy harvesters for smart electronics. This work, with 21 citations, demonstrates her ability to transform laboratorial handcraft into practical manufacturing solutions. Hao further advanced flexible pressure sensing by designing a BTO/PVDF/PDMS piezoelectric sensor inspired by a wind chime, capable of discriminating both tangential and normal forces for applications in environmental monitoring and human-robot interaction (9 citations). Her recent work on a plug-and-play data processing module for complex fault diagnosis (2025) showcases her expanding expertise into intelligent systems. Hao’s research bridges materials innovation and device engineering, offering scalable, practical solutions for next-generation smart electronics.
