Roya Sabbagh Novin is a robotics researcher whose work spans ergonomics-aware human-robot interaction, motion planning, and assistive robotics. She has made particularly significant contributions to the field of physical human-robot interaction (pHRI), developing novel frameworks for postural estimation and optimization that address real-world ergonomic challenges facing robot operators.
