Dr. Ross Berbeco is a leading medical physicist whose research has been instrumental in advancing real-time adaptive radiotherapy, particularly for treating moving tumors. His work centers on the development and clinical implementation of motion management technologies, including tumor tracking and respiratory compensation. Dr. Berbeco is best known for his foundational contributions to the Synchrony Respiratory Tracking System (RTS) for the CyberKnife robotic treatment device.
