About

Robert Wood is a leading atmospheric scientist whose research focuses on aerosol-cloud interactions, marine stratocumulus clouds, and the radiative impacts of biomass burning aerosols. His major contributions include advancing the understanding of how smoke aerosols from African fires alter cloud properties and the radiation budget over the southeast Atlantic Ocean.
