About
Pudit Laksanacharoen is a pioneering roboticist whose work centers on reconfigurable spherical robotics and bio-inspired locomotion control. His most significant contribution is the development of a series of reconfigurable spherical robots (RSR I, II, and III), which can transform from a compact spherical shell into a three-legged walking and rolling platform. This innovative design, featuring omni-directional wheels on each leg, enables seamless transitions between modes for enhanced mobility in complex environments. His 2011 paper on the initial RSR concept has garnered 12 citations, establishing a foundation for a decade-long research program.
