N. Mirabal is a leading astrophysicist whose research focuses on the high-energy universe, particularly gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) and their multi-wavelength counterparts. A key contribution is their pioneering work with the robotic ROTSE-III telescope network, which enabled the first simultaneous detection of prompt optical and gamma-ray emission from GRBs.
