About
N. I. Shatsky is a leading figure in observational astrophysics, renowned for pioneering the development and operation of the MASTER Global Robotic Network, a system of autonomous optical telescopes designed for rapid sky surveys and transient detection. His foundational 2011 paper on the MASTER II system, which has garnered 73 citations, established the hardware, software, and algorithmic framework that enables real-time monitoring of gamma-ray bursts, supernovae, and other cosmic events.
