Maya Schuldiner is a pioneering cell biologist whose work has fundamentally reshaped our understanding of organelle biology and cellular organization. Her research focuses on the functional architecture of the cell, particularly how organelles communicate, maintain their identity, and adapt to stress. Schuldiner is best known for developing and applying high-throughput microscopy screening platforms in yeast, enabling systematic, genome-wide exploration of cellular processes.
