Masahiko Onda is a visionary engineer whose work bridges the gap between futuristic propulsion concepts and practical aerial robotics. Onda’s most notable contribution is his pioneering work on laser-driven vehicles, where he demonstrated the feasibility of using laser-supported propulsion to power a micro-airplane with a water-covered ablator.
