Martin Mankiewicz is a pioneering figure in medical nanorobotics and interventional MRI, whose work bridges the gap between microscopic robotics and clinical medicine. His research focuses on the magnetic control and navigation of untethered devices—from millimeter-scale beads to nanoscale agents—within the living body, using conventional clinical MRI systems for both tracking and propulsion.
