Margaret Gunn’s research focuses on developing and evaluating assistive technologies to improve the quality of life for individuals with neuromuscular disorders. Her most significant contributions center on the Wilmington Robotic EXoskeleton (WREX), a passive anti-gravity arm orthosis that enables gravity-minimized movement for people with upper extremity weakness.
