About
Lykke Brogaard Bertel is a Danish researcher whose work sits at the intersection of educational technology, social robotics, and inclusive learning design. Best known for her pioneering investigations into how robots can transform real-world educational environments, Bertel has built a career around understanding the human dimensions of human-robot interaction in schools and clinical settings. Her early work established foundational frameworks for participatory design in educational robotics (2013, 24 citations), while her studies on humanoid robots such as NAO explored how programmable social robots can enrich teaching and motivate learners across primary and secondary school contexts.
