Dr. Jiumei Xiao is pioneering the next generation of soft robotics through innovative liquid crystalline materials. Her research focuses on developing advanced liquid crystalline elastomers (LCEs) and networks (LCNs) that respond to light, enabling unprecedented control over actuation.
