Jason L. Tackett is an atmospheric scientist whose research centers on remote sensing of aerosols — tiny particles suspended in the atmosphere that profoundly influence climate, air quality, and human health. His work focuses primarily on satellite-based aerosol detection and retrieval algorithms, with particular expertise in lidar and radiometric instruments aboard NASA's Earth-observing platforms.
