Irfan Ahmad is a control systems researcher whose work centers on the robust control of flexible-joint robotic manipulators, a critical area for precision automation and industrial robotics. His major contributions lie in developing advanced output feedback control strategies that address the challenges of matched disturbances, parametric uncertainties, and sensor noise in single-link flexible-joint robot manipulators (SFJRMs).
