About

Hyuk Soon Choi is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of gastroenterology and surgical robotics, whose work is transforming the practice of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). His primary research focus is the development of novel robotic assistive devices designed to overcome the technical challenges of ESD, particularly in achieving optimal tissue traction and clear visualization during the removal of early-stage gastrointestinal tumors.
