Hassanin Al-Fahaam is a pioneering researcher in soft robotics and rehabilitation engineering, whose work has significantly advanced the development of pneumatic artificial muscles (PAMs) and wearable exoskeleton systems. His research focuses on designing, mathematically modelling, and implementing soft actuators for medical rehabilitation and human power augmentation applications.
