About
Haojie Jiang is pioneering the next generation of bio-inspired electronic materials, with a core focus on stretchable electronics, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and electronic skin (e-skin) for human-machine interfaces. His major contributions lie in overcoming the long-standing trade-off between mechanical stretchability, biocompatibility, and functional performance. In his highly cited 2025 work (22 citations), Jiang introduced a biomimetic strategy enhanced with MXene to create EMI shielding materials that are both ultra-stretchable and biocompatible—a critical advance for soft robotics and bioelectronics.
