G. V. Borisov is a pioneering astrophysicist specializing in robotic telescope systems and the optical observation of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs). As the lead developer of the MASTER (Mobile Astronomical System of Telescope-Robots) network, he established Russia’s first robotic observatory near Moscow, designed for rapid-response tracking of transient cosmic events.
