Dr. Faramarz Karimian is a pioneering figure in surgical robotics, with a focused career dedicated to enhancing laparoscopic surgery through intelligent automation. His primary research area is the design and clinical validation of robotic camera assistants, aiming to replace the human camera holder with a more stable, precise, and cost-effective solution.
