F. R. Herpich is a key figure in extragalactic astronomy and large-scale photometric surveys, best known for their central role in the Southern Photometric Local Universe Survey (S-PLUS). Their research focuses on galaxy evolution, photometric redshifts, and the characterization of stellar populations using multi-band imaging.
