Emad Ebeid is a leading researcher in aerial robotics and autonomous systems, with a primary focus on the inspection and maintenance of electrical power infrastructures. His work addresses the critical need to replace risky human operations with intelligent, cost-effective drone solutions. Ebeid’s major contributions include the design of a novel wireless drone recharging station that can be mounted on energized AC power lines, enabling extended autonomous missions without manual intervention.
