About

Chris Young is a pioneering roboticist and deep-sea engineer whose work has fundamentally expanded humanity’s reach into the ocean’s most extreme environments. His primary research centers on the design, development, and field deployment of hybrid underwater robotic vehicles capable of operating at hadal depths—the deepest, least-explored regions of the ocean.
