Dr. Camelia Talianu is a leading atmospheric physicist whose research centers on aerosol remote sensing, lidar technology, and the characterization of long-range transported aerosols across Europe. Her most significant contribution is the development of the Lidar-Radiometer Inversion Code (LIRIC), a groundbreaking algorithm that integrates coincident lidar and sun photometer data to retrieve vertical profiles of aerosol concentration.
