Bai Zhu is a rising innovator in the field of soft robotics and bioinspired actuation, with a focused expertise in developing high-performance, nature-mimicking robotic systems. Their most notable contribution is the design of a jellyfish-inspired soft robot driven by pneumatic bistable actuators (PBAs), a breakthrough that directly addresses the longstanding trade-off between driving force and response speed in soft robotics.
