About

Qiuyang Tao is a leading figure in the development of safe, long-endurance aerial robots for human-robot interaction, with a primary focus on miniature autonomous blimps. As the architect of the Georgia Tech Miniature Autonomous Blimp (GT-MAB), Tao’s work has pioneered new frontiers in indoor aerial robotics, achieving the first-ever Human Robot Interaction (HRI) between an uninstrumented human and a robotic blimp.
