About
M. Sigwarth is a solar physicist whose work centers on the development and operation of robotic telescopes for high-cadence observations of the Sun’s chromosphere. Their most significant contribution is the design and realization of the Chromospheric Telescope (ChroTel), a 10 cm robotic instrument located at the Observatorio del Teide, Tenerife. ChroTel captures full-disk solar images with a 2k × 2k CCD at an unprecedented temporal cadence, enabling detailed studies of dynamic chromospheric phenomena.
