About
Ling Shen is a pioneering researcher in hematology, with a primary focus on developing novel therapeutic strategies for beta-hemoglobinopathies such as sickle cell disease and beta-thalassemia. Her major contributions center on the discovery and validation of small-molecule inducers of fetal hemoglobin (HbF), a key approach to ameliorating the clinical severity of these disorders.
