B. Pichardo is a planetary astronomer whose work centers on the rapid physical characterization of near-Earth objects (NEOs), with a particular focus on their colors and compositions. Their most notable contribution is the first major release from the RATIR (Reionization and Transients Infrared Camera) rapid-response campaign, which obtained r–i color observations of 82 NEOs using the 1.5-meter robotic telescope at San Pedro Mártir Observatory in Mexico.
