Abstract
In the last decades were developed a multitude of robotic systems with the main purpose of assisting in the mobility of the people with disabilities. The main objective of this paper is the implementation of a robust mobility assistance system based on the human eyes movement interpretation. The paper is focused on the development of a software and hardware system model for the human eye high precision movement detection, by analyzing the electrooculography (EOG) signals, for assisting people with disabilities, with special features for eliminating fixation problems, when the user is exhausted or when is using the system for long time intervals.
