Abstract

Landmine detection robots are specialized robots designed to detect landmines. These robots are equipped with advanced sensing technologies such as metal detectors, and cameras, which enable them to detect and locate landmines hidden in the ground. Landmine detection robots are essential in areas where landmines pose a significant threat to human life and safety, such as war zones and post-conflict areas. Landmine detection robots offer several advantages over traditional landmine detection methods, such as manual detection and clearance. These robots can cover large areas quickly and accurately, reducing the time and cost required for landmine clearance. Additionally, landmine detection robots can operate in hazardous and inaccessible areas, reducing the risk of injury or death to human deminers. The detection and clearance of underwater mines are challenging tasks, as the water environment can impede visibility and the movement of equipment. Traditional underwater mine detection and clearance methods involve human divers, who manually search for and remove mines, a dangerous and time-consuming task.
