Design of a Flexible End-Effector for Logistics Sorting Robot

Abstract
In this paper we propose an end-effector for goods sorting robot in the e-commerce logistics warehouse, which is used to enable the sorting robot to flexibly grasp a variety of logistics goods. Taking advantages of the multi-finger gripper and the suction tool, this paper provides a scheme combining a vacuum suction tool and a three-finger gripper. In order to measure the utility of the flexible end-effector, a picking experiment is performed. The result proves that the end-effector meets its requirements.
