Abstract
Infection prevention and control (IPC) plays an important role in providing quality healthcare. IPC including prevention of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), is an important factor in determining safety of patients and quality of healthcare facilities. The main goal of the IPC is to prevent spreading of the infections their part to prevent the spread of pathogens and AMR. The main objective of the paper is to provide safe and quality environment especially in hospitals. A new infection prevention method and UV-disinfection robot is proposed for achieving maximum sterilization for hospital rooms. The proposed bot can kill microbes efficiently with in few minutes. The bot uses Ultra Violet rays which travels few meters, disinfects the area to its proximity. This bot is highly efficient than humans and helps to disinfect the room and keeps the infections in control. To avoid direct contact and eradicate acquired infections this robot is controlled from a distance through mobile application.
