Abstract
This paper discusses some recent works considering load transportation with one or a group of quadrotors, an issue that has deserved increasing interest from the robotics community in recent years. Two different approaches are considered, namely transportation of a cable-suspended load and transportation of a load that is grasped and added to the body of the quadrotor. Different techniques proposed to accomplish maneuvers adopting both approaches are analyzed, focusing on works with experimental validation of the control strategies proposed.
