摘要
The efficient flow of products on production lines has great importance for every producer. Considering the short life cycle of products, the performance of the production line determines the production efficiency. The problem is particularly visible on product sorting (picking) lines. In this article, the authors present the problem of sorting products using the KINOVA robot equipped with vision system. The issue involves the integration of the robot with the vision system and their configuration. The Adaptive Vision Studio software is employed for the image recognition taken with an ordinary camera. Depending on the data received from the camera, the robotic arm is ordered to move to a specific predefined location. This is used in an industrial environment where the robotic arm is required to pick up the objects based on the QR code labelled on each item.
