Dr. Yuli Wang is pioneering the next generation of wearable bioelectronics, with a focused expertise in stretchable conductors and epidermal electronics. Their major contributions lie in overcoming the critical limitations of liquid metal-based systems—namely poor wettability, complex fabrication, and lack of recyclability. Dr. Wang’s most influential work, a 2025 study on highly stretchable, moisture-permeable on-skin electrodes from liquid metal and fiber mat (14 citations), introduces a paradigm shift by combining mechanical compliance with breathability, essential for long-term medical monitoring.
