Yuhong Zhu is a pioneering researcher whose work bridges the frontiers of medical robotics and smart materials. His primary research areas include endoscopic robot locomotion and shape memory polymers, with a focus on developing less invasive medical technologies and advanced functional materials. Zhu’s most influential contribution is his 2006 paper on a novel locomotion principle for endoscopic robots, which has garnered 27 citations.
