About

Young-Je Park is a leading figure in satellite-based aerosol remote sensing, with a primary focus on geostationary observations over East Asia. Their most significant contribution is the development of the GOCI Yonsei Aerosol Retrieval (YAER) algorithm, which has fundamentally improved the monitoring of aerosol optical depth (AOD) and other aerosol properties from the Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI).
