About

Xiaoman Cao is a pioneering breast surgeon whose work focuses on advancing minimally invasive techniques in oncoplastic breast surgery, particularly for patients traditionally considered poor candidates for nipple-sparing mastectomy (NSM). Her major contribution is the development and validation of the reverse-sequence endoscopic nipple-sparing mastectomy (R-E-NSM) with direct-to-implant breast reconstruction (DIBR), combined with an innovative air inflation adjustment technique.
