About
Vittorio Brando is a leading figure in satellite oceanography, specializing in the validation and refinement of hyperspectral and multispectral remote sensing for aquatic environments. His work is pivotal to advancing our ability to monitor water quality from space, particularly in optically complex waters. Brando’s major contributions include rigorous assessments of atmospheric correction methods for cutting-edge satellite missions.
