Terence Keegan is a pioneering roboticist whose work bridges bio-inspired engineering and human-robot teaming for defense applications. His most influential contribution, the 2006 paper “A Novel Water Running Robot Inspired by Basilisk Lizards” (74 citations), introduced a groundbreaking robot capable of running on water surfaces by mimicking the basilisk lizard’s slapping and stroking foot motions.
