About
Stijn Keereweer is a leading surgical oncologist and researcher whose work centers on advancing minimally invasive colorectal surgery through intraoperative imaging. His primary research focus is the use of near-infrared fluorescence imaging with indocyanine green (ICG) to assess bowel perfusion in real time, a technique designed to reduce the risk of anastomotic leakage—a severe complication following colorectal resection.
