Shuqiang Peng is a leading researcher at the forefront of smart materials and advanced manufacturing, with a focus on 4D printing, shape memory polymers, and wearable electronics. His pioneering work on dynamic imine bond-based shape memory polymers introduced permanent shape reconfigurability to 4D printing, overcoming a fundamental limitation of traditional cross-linked (meth)acrylate materials. This breakthrough, published in 2019 and cited 135 times, has become a cornerstone for developing adaptive structures with reprogrammable geometries.
