Shujie Guo is a robotics researcher whose work centers on real-time operating systems, robot control, and telepresence technologies. In a foundational 2014 study, Guo developed a rigorous testing methodology for evaluating the real-time performance of RGMP-ROS, a specialized robot operating system. By dissecting the core functions of real-time kernels and identifying key latency factors, this work provided a critical benchmark for ensuring deterministic behavior in time-sensitive robotic applications.
