About
Shikuan Jin is a leading researcher in satellite-based aerosol remote sensing, with a primary focus on the retrieval, validation, and analysis of aerosol optical depth (AOD) using multi-angle polarimetric observations. His most impactful work includes the comprehensive validation and intercomparison of MISR V23 AOD products against MODIS and AERONET data, a study that has garnered 29 citations and provides critical insights into the accuracy and consistency of global aerosol datasets.
