Shigeki Kubota is a pioneering researcher in robotic rehabilitation medicine, with a primary focus on the clinical application of wearable exoskeleton technology — particularly the Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) robot suit — for patients with severe neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
