About

Shifu Lu is a leading figure in bioinspired materials science, with a primary focus on developing advanced polymeric systems that mimic the extraordinary mechanical properties of natural silks. His most celebrated work, the 2023 study on a "Spider‐Silk‐Inspired Heterogeneous Supramolecular Network," represents a landmark contribution to the field.
